The British High Commissioner to Nigeria His Excellency Richard Montgomery has expressed ‘positive optimism’ on the progress recorded by HYPREP in Ogoniland. He made this disclosure today when he visited the Project Coordination Office (PCO) in Port Harcourt as part of his working visit to Rivers State.
PC of HYPREP, Prof. Nenibarini Zabbey, reeling out the achievements of the Project in remediation, provision of potable water, CEER, livelihood, mangrove restoration, public health and power, assured the guest and the diplomatic community of the FG’s commitment to the full implementation of a sustainable clean-up programme in Ogoniland.
