HYPREP, under the Federal Ministry of Environment, aims to remediate soil and groundwater contamination in Ogoniland and impacted communities, promoting local capacity building and environmental awareness. It seeks to ensure sustainable livelihoods and development while fostering security and peace-building efforts. Additionally, HYPREP strives to strengthen governance, transparency, and accountability in the region.

Environmental Remediation Determine and Remediate: HYPREP diligently assesses the scope of soil and groundwater contamination in impacted communities, as recommended by our Governing Council.
